KVA Hostel, Ljubljana's newest hostel, is located in the heart of Ljubljana Old Town on the renovated Breg embankment by the Ljubljanica river, in one of a Breg's most noteworthy buildings, the former Printing House.

The guests of KVA hostel can choose between 6 dorm rooms, 2 double rooms and 2 ensuite double rooms and they benefit from a fully equipped communal kitchen. After a day exploring Ljubljana guests can relax in a big, cosy lounge with the view on a castle and a vibrant life by the river.

We are situated in the nicest part of Ljubljana Old Town, just 6 minutes from the Prešeren square walking by the enchanting Ljubljanica river, charming bridges and its rich bar and restaurants offer, 15 minutes walking from Ljubljana castle and 0 minutes from the most romantic view on Ljubljanica river and its colourfull banks!

Infront of the door of the hostel in the pure city centre you will find some of the most interesting street markets in Ljubljana! On Sundays throughout the year it hosts an antique flea market, on Saturdays during the summer an art market bringing together local artists and designers, and during Christmas time the central part of a large festive fair.

Just in front of the hostel you can rent a bike »Bicikelj«, a city of Ljubljana 24/7 bike rentals system, a perfect way to explore the city as a true locals do! For more cosy travelers you can use Ljubljana's free city centre public transport - electric-powered vehicles referred to as Kavalirs (Gentle Helpers). Kavalirs, mainly intended for the transport of the elderly, mobility-impaired people, and visitors, run around the pedestrianized historical city centre at a speed slow enough to allow you to hail them anywhere on the street. To get to other parts of Ljubljana, you can choose a local bus, the stop is just 170 metres away.
