Above the urban bustle lies an image of the flashing Ljubljana, where many cultural and artistic versions with a dash of slovenianness resides. Through the city core meanders Ljubljanica, flowing dreamily, caught between the willows.

Hotel Medno is surrounded by the woods on one side and on the other side your sight follows gorgeous turquoise river Sava and snowy peaks of mighty Alps. This is a place, caught between the city and the province. It is located only nine kilometres away from the beloved Ljubljana center. Just by the hotel there is a regional road, leading towards Kranj and thereafter towards Austria and Italy. The airport of Jože Pučnik is only fifteen kilometres away.
Hotel Medno offers 60 beds. The rooms are from different categories, so everyone can find a suitable one. We offer kindness, hospitality and privacy to our guests. We wish that every single guest wishes to return to our hug of nature.
We are trying to organise memorable weddings, celebrations and experiences for you. For our business guests there is also congress hall to rent with free use of technical equipment.

Slovenija je najmlajša in najmanjša evropska državica. Vendar pa je njena lega taka, da si jo lahko vsak le poželi. Je naravno križišče evropskih poti od severa na jug in od zahoda na vzhod. Je ob vznožju najvzhodnejšega konca alpske verige in na skrajnem delu najbolj severnega sredozemskega zaliva. Večina tujcev pa jo enostavno mora še spoznati, saj skrivamo vse polno zanimivih kotičkov.
Nad mestnim vrvežem lebdi podoba utripajoče Ljubljane, kjer domujejo številne kulturne in umetniške različice s kančkom slovenskosti. Med mestnim jedrom zasanjano teče Ljubljanica, ujeta med vrbe.

Je kraj, ki je ujet med mestom in podeželjem. Od središča ljube Ljubljane smo oddaljeni devet kilometrov. Neposredno ob Hotelu vijuga magistralna cesta, ki vodi proti Kranju in še naprej proti Avstriji in Italiji. Letališče Jože Pučnik je oddaljeno 15 km.
