Vander Urbani Resort is a unique architectural mixture between the romantic past of old Ljubljana and the unique quality of accommodation expected from a modern wanderer. Vander Urbani Resort is hidden behind the walls of four medieval houses on the bank of the “Ljubljanica” river in the heart of old Ljubljana and offers 16 exceptional designed rooms.
Around vertical atrium with a central staircase, the structure of the hotel is visible: in the basement wine cellar stores and kitchen creates our gourmand treasures and goods, reception desk, restaurant and bar on the ground floor invites and hosts visitors and our hotel guests, to whom are available16 rooms on three floors and a spacious terrace with an outdoor infinity pool. The design of Vander Urbani Resort is based on a game of three-dimensional patterns, of carefully chosen materials and reflections, of which the guest becomes a part of the interior.
The interior is based as a continuous line flowing from one building to another and seduces with spectacular views which are completed with a remarkable sighting of the “Ljubljanica” river, the old city and the Ljubljana castle. The external an internal renovation was designed by SADAR + VUGA together with the owners.
A 24 hour reception desk is available for our guests, we also offer free Wi-Fi. Indulge yourself with yoga, or a massage. All bathrooms offer Molton Brown Cosmetics. We offer a perfect sleep with Frette bedding and with a glove fitting exceptional mattresses… A “Wish Box” can be found in every room. Ecological awareness is not just a fashion statement for us. It’s a way of life and business.
Our Vander restaurant is a special experience offering a unique breakfast, as well as “Deep dish” lunches and a la cart dinner. The most exquisite ingredients from Slovenia are used by Benjamin Launay, our Chef de Cuisine from France with his endless inspiration. The wine cellar of the Vander restaurant is a real treasure of authentic wines especially from Slovenia and Australia. Exclusive wines from France, Italy, New Zealand, and the United States of America can be found here as well.
Vander’s heart beats with the Old part of Ljubljana, where old and new co-exist in a passionate embrace. Everyone can find a place at Vander for romance, social events or business meetings. Whoever comes to Vander, will leave with the feeling as a local – “Ljubljancan”. Welcome.

Vander Urbani Resort, prvi član skupine Design Hotels v Sloveniji.

Vander Urbani Resort je unikatno arhitektonsko zlitje romantične preteklosti stare Ljubljane in vrhunske kakovosti bivanja, ki jo pričakuje sodobni popotnik. Od zunase Vander skriva za pročelji štirih srednjeveških hiš na obrežju Ljubljanice v srcu stare Ljubljane, katerih interier ponuja 16 vrhunsko opremljenih sob.
Okrog vertikalnega atrija z osrednjim stopniščem je nanizan program hotela: kuhinja in vinoteka v kleti,recepcija, restavracija in bar v pritličju, šestnajst sob v treh nadstropjih ter velika terasa z odprtim bazenom na strehi. Oblikovanje hotela Vander temelji na igri trodimenzionalnih vzorcev različnih izbranih materialov
in na odsevih, zaradi katerih obiskovalec postane del interierja.
Interier je zasnovan kot nepretrgana linija, ki neopazno teče iz hiše v hišo in zapeljuje s presenetljivimi pogledi, ki se na sončni terasi z odprtim bazenom na strehi hotela zaokrožijo z očarljivim razgledom na Ljubljanico, staro Ljubljano in ljubljanski grad. Vander je, v sodelovanju z lastnikoma hotela, nastal po
projektih arhitekturnega biroja SADAR+VUGA.
Vse sobe odlikujejo intimna atmosfera, unikaten bivalni ambient, skrben izbor materialov in vrhunska notranja oprema: Molton Brown kozmetika, anatomsko prilagodljive vzmetnice, Frette posteljnina, po meri oblikovano pohištvo, Wish Box mini bar, ki ga ob rezervaciji napolnimo po želji. Našim gostom je na voljo
recepcija 24 ur na dan, brezplačen wi-fi, razvajanje z jogo in masažami itd.
Naša restavracija z bogato založeno vinsko kletjo je idealno okolje za užitek ob dobri hrani in kozarčku žlahtne kapljice. Sveže sestavine slovenskega porekla in pridelave ter najboljše regionalne specialitete pripravljamo na sodoben način s pridihom tradicije. Naša ponudba sledi letnim časom in neizčrpni inspiraciji Benjamina Launaya, našega Chef de Cuisine. Zajtrki s svežimi dobrotami iz vse Slovenije, “Deep Dish” kosila in a la carte večerje so na voljo tudi zunanjim gostom in za zaključene družbe.
